- Safe Secrets is an open forum for discussion for survivors of sexual assault,abuse and domestic violence.Our goal is to bring awareness to the community as a whole and use preventative and protecttive measures to our family and friends from the emotional,physical and mental damage caused by trauma.We are 100% committed to spreading the word to encourage others and discourage predators.
Facts....
Sexual abuse is more common among family members and friends than complete strangers.Deep roots of secrecy,public embarassment and shame allows the abuse to continue.

Telling your story can not only encourage someone but can also be a therapeutic release for yourself.As a survivor of sexual molestation and rape, I shared my story over and over until I didn't cry anymore.The community where I come from,many don't believe in therapy or counseling.This is very detrimental because our mental health suffers which in turn affects our relationships with others.
